Friday December 8 was the 74th birthday of Jim Morrison from The Doors

I was 9 years old and had no knowledge of the iconic artist who considered himself more of a poet than a singer. I don't know much about him other than Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers of all time. I'd always thought he'd died of a drug overdose but in my research discovered there was no autopsy performed after his death at only 27 years old, so although he had developed an alcohol dependency and used drugs there was never an official determination. I realized I know more Doors songs than I thought I did and here are a few.
